If you are true Major League fans you'll know that the above title is a movie line reference, and that it is rather sarcastic at that.
So I took Sunny home Friday, and she worked well Friday night, but then Saturday morning, not so good, and Saturday night, still no good, and today, Sunday, well, I brought her back so Jim could try and fix her again.
Ugh, why can't computers be easy. Then to top it all off, I went out to Kermie to come over here to mom's and my face plate to my stereo was gone. Some jerk took my faceplate!
Can you say RUDE!!!!!?????!!!!!
So I am driving in silence, and I cannot get the CD out that I had been listening to prior to the faceplate being taken. So Phil Vassar is stuck in the player, cause some chump decided they wanted to take my faceplate. And I tried to see if there was an emergency way to get the CD out, no such luck...
Unless the chump took that too, then I'll be mad!
Here's a kicker though, J's faceplate, still there.
What are they going to do with just a faceplate?
Anyway, those are my gripes for the moment...
Until next time...

Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone...
That's right, Sunny is still getting fixed up. Jim tried and tried to fix her without completely wiping out the hard drive and starting over, but that is finally what it took. He tried to save as many of my files as he could. So I am glad I had recently moved a lot of files over to my external drive.
In the meantime, I just check my emails and such at mom's for now.
I have other things to do as well, but I am just dragging my feet about stuff.
That's why I decided to blog. I just looked at a bunch of my friend's blogs and thought, well, since I'm at the computer I might as well blog myself.
Haven't been doing much but working, but I love my job at Archiver's. If you do not know what Archiver's is, go here.
I mean how can you not LOVE a scrapbook store?
Though, here's a small funny, when I was IMing with Dad last night, I managed to miss the "s" and typed crapbook instead. Don't tell James, he'll just give me an "I told you so." Him and his "seventh circle of hell" and all that.
I don't think they are bad, in fact I love them.
Mom is going to go to Grandma Donna's and Grandpa Bob's house tomorrow. They haven't been doing very well. Grandma had to have cataract surgery on both of her eyes (not at the same time). And Grandpa, well his health hasn't been all too well, been anemic, among other things, I mean, he didn't feel like eating. That is not my grandpa!
So she's going to go and make sure everything is okay and work herself to death. (She shouldn't, she cannot afford to do that either as she hasn't exactly felt well either). The docs did say though that grandpa has polymyalgia which is similar to fibromyalgia. But he is doing better, so hopefully mom's visit will be uneventful.
I tend to not think about it too much or I get sad. My grandpa will be 88 this July and my grandma will be 80. So they're not exactly spring chickens.
I also went to the Fourth District Court today for my friend Desi, she needed the moral support. She was originally supposed to testify at a preliminary hearing for her estranged husband. Luckily, Jared (the husband), decided to wave prelim and be bound over for trial. They are working on a plea in abeyance which would likely keep tabs on Jared for two years and if he messes up well then they can throw the book at him.
I remember how icky one can feel at the courts, even though one is not the one on trial, so to speak. That's why I went in support of Desi. Her parents were there as well, in support of her. I just love Desi, she's been a real good new friend to me.
Speaking of friends, I feel like I have lost touch with a few of them, when I get Sunny back I am going to try and work on being a better friend.
I feel better having written today.
Until next time...

Feeling like I lost a limb...
Two weeks ago, my computer died. I never realized how much I relied on it until I didn't have it anymore.
It's been so sad without Sunny (that's my computer's name--I never would have thought how much I would come to depend on her, like the sun when I named her...)
So, when things get back to normal after I have Sunny back, I'll post more frequently again.
Until next time...

Less Dizziness for Mom
Okay, Mom didn't like my other background, made her dizzy, so I went a little more subdued. Too bad, I really liked the darker green and the blinkies.
If I knew HTML better I might've been able to turn the blinkies off, but that would have been more work.
Anyway, my scream in the previous post was not a TEST. It was in fact a real scream of frustration and had it been a test, I would've said so.
In any event, the next time I should send instruction on what to do in case of a real emergency/scream. Though I do not know what you would have done this last time, which is likely why I did not leave any instructions.
It was nothing more than frustration at James. He did something to make me frustrated and cause a set back, not major, but in it's own way it was. If you know his story you will understand. If you do not, well, let's just say it was a disappointment to me to say the least.
When I asked him why he did it, he couldn't really tell me. All he said to me was I needed to have a password on the computer again and he just couldn't get stuff out of his head so he acted on the impulse (or the dwelling I might say). I asked him why he was thinking about it, why the usual ways of not thinking about stuff he shouldn't think about didn't help him to stop thinking about it. (Are you lost, cause I feel like I am?) Anyway, he couldn't really answer me and thus, we are password protected again and I am left feeling frustrated, inadequate, and loser-ish.
That aside, I am also feeling like a slug. But have to go work on laundry and school work.
Until next time...

Gray Blahs
Yes... It is that time of year for me... The blahs... I hate them, they suck.
I am so sick of the gray, icky days. Not necessarily the ones with precipitation, I can live with the snow or the rain, but the days with just clouds or inversion. They suck.
I need sunshine!!! Me the night owl, go figure.
Who'da thunk it?
Okay, had to get that off of my chest.
Until next time...

What spice is B-Jo?
So, I did another blog quiz. This time, what spice I am. I like the outcome of this one, I think it is fitting.
