Okay, it's true, I am not nearly as smart as I thought I was... I added the mp3 player, put in the song, but I suck cause the song won't work so I need to figure out a different way to let you hear the song. I'm working on it...
Until next time...

Musica...
So I added an mp3 player to my blog now... How cool is that?
I'm really stuck on this one song right now, so I will probably leave it for a while.
It's not a new song, in fact it was really made popular by Cyndi Lauper in the late 80s early 90s. Time After Time has been remade by a group called Quietdrive and I am totally digging their version. That says a lot coming from me, because I generally do not like remakes. But I am loving this one.
So, over on the right hit the play button and listen to this awesome song...
Until next time...

This is why I don't like to clean...
I thought I would be all constructive and stuff and clean off the stove and such--really, really, good. So I had the top propped up and was wiping out the underneath part, but the oven was on cause I was baking pizza, and my thumb accidentally hit the vent pipe from the oven--which was very hot, hel-lo, burned my thumb. Ugh!
Very good reason to not clean...
It causes physical injury.
Until next time...

When a friend hurts...
I have a friend.
He hurts.
He lost his world.
Or so he thinks, he chased that world away.
Or did he run, he isn't sure.
His heart had gone astray.
But then his eyes were opened,
He struggled to return.
But by then, it seemed to late,
for others felt the spurn.
He begged for all forgiveness,
He laid it on the line,
He said, "I'll do it over,
I cannot lose what's mine."
But, they would not listen
And so his heart did crack.
Daily, he feels stretched upon
a giant, medieval rack.
His wounds are fresh and open.
His soul, the pulses bleed.
His cries are pain and anguish,
For respite, doth they plead.
I want to end his torture,
I long to ease his pain,
and when he catches on to this,
Perfection he does feign.
But oh, how I know better
the outcries of the heart,
I want nothing more to hug him
Make the bitterness depart.
Alas, it is in agony
That I watch him ache,
The sorrow and the tragedy
of life's long earned mistake.
I carry on some hope for him,
For in his heart it's true.
A stronger one beside himself,
someone who always knew,
Of strength, and ties and saviors,
of untold godly wealth,
of blessings and eternities,
of picture perfect health.
He will become the man he should
for all the world to see,
It will take time, my friend who hurts,
with all my heart, love, B.

My LEAST favorite "holiday"
Yes, I am having bitterness this year as it is my least favorite holiday... once again...
Not that I do not appreciate my own mother, grandmother, etc. It's just hard when you are of child bearing age, etc and you want to have children but don't. Don't get me wrong, I love my nieces and nephews very, very much... But I still get pangs for my own.
You cannot tell me you do not understand. Even mothers with children have baby pangs every once in a while. So, I am at home, trying to finish up mom's mother's day stuff and wishing life were a little bit different for me today.
Until next time...

I should be going to bed...instead...
I'm writing in the blog. Go figure.
I had GJ today, so I was up early to be in SLC by 8:30 am, ugh, we all know I am so not a morning person. It was a somewhat interesting day, even had a newsworthy case or two--not that I can talk about it.
Then, it was rainy out, but I grabbed samples from Dr. Hafen--thank goodness, ther is no way I could afford those meds with no insurance. Then I stopped to see Cindy at Robert's. Her last day is Friday, bless her heart. She keeps telling me I should take her place. But I know how awful they treat their help, so why would I actually work for them? They were supposed to have a make-n-take card for mother's day from 4 to 7 PM, they were a little disorganized and a little behind. But when you get told at the last minute, what do you expect?
I came home, chatted with friends, read emails, checked my swaps--I signed up for a bunch so I have to get to work. I'll work on them tomorrow, along with some laundry. I'll do some other stuff too I hope.
I also talked to Donna Jean, today she turned three, bless her heart. Now I just have to get her present mailed.
I work tomorrow, I need to get up in the AM, we'll see how early.
Until next time...

Scrap a day...keeps [blank] away...
So today we had an employee crop. We met at work and all scrapped or worked on projects.
I went a little later then I wanted to but I had fun while I was there.
The icky part were the bad vibes coming from one of the people there. I won't mention names or anything, but I get really frustrated with this person more and more frequently, as she seems to suck all the good vibes from everyone to replace with her own icky, down-with-you-and-the-world vibes. I know that sounds crazy, but I swear it seems true. Every time I work with her I feel cranky and such.
Anyway, that isn't the only thing that has made me view the world with darkened eyes. J got a letter from the state, talking about their wonderful new policies for "the" registry. It made me mad too, as I realize, not only is he a target for potential "vigilante" style vengeance, but so am I because I am his wife, and tied to him in so many ways.
Maybe it is just my over-reactive imagination. Who knows? I hope not. Anyway...
Until next time...

The latest on my crazy health
If you are easily grossed out, don't want to receive too much information, or really could care less about what bizarre things my body has been through lately, you should quit reading, now.
In the event you really want to hear about what all has been going on, keep reading, if it gets to be TMI, well, you have your agency and you can stop. I just want a record of what all has been going on.
Okay, Monday, I went in to the doctor. I've had pain in my jaw/teeth/cheek/ side of face, whatever since last week. When I went in ti the doc, I had several complaints. A sinus infection is what I believed was causing the pain in my head (because I had also had sinus-like headaches, etc). I have noticed I likely had a yeast infection as well. On top of that late Sunday night was having issues with going potty. It hurt. So I figured I had a bladder or some other kind of urinary tract infection. But here is the topper... I have had discharge coming out of the nipple on my left breast. It started and I thought it was just some kind of possible hormonal thing. Maybe my body weirded out and it was coming out of the milk ducts. I looked things up on the net, and found some possibilities. Well, it kept getting worse, more pus-like looking, what I choose to call ooze and gook. Then it started to have some streaks of blood in it. My breast was also red and swollen and warm to the touch. You could also feel lumpies underneath the areola. So, the doc put me on antibiotics, gave me a med for the yeast infection and some pain pills. So then yesterday, I was getting more ooze and gook out, only now it seemed way more bloody than it should have been and it sort of freaked me out. Back to the doc this AM. He said it is getting better, keep taking the meds, an did I want something for pain. I told him he gave me the scrip for lortab, but it sometimes didn't even touch the pain. So he gave me a scrip for percocet. YAY! Pain pills! They knock me out and I have been drugged up a lot lately and totally out of it.
Course now we get back to the pain in my mouth, that I thought was tied to sinuses, but has proven to actually be some kind of abscess in my tooth. I went to the dentist on Tuesday. He said he couldn't tell from the x-ray, but it is a wisdom tooth that has moved down as a regular tooth, has already had a really DEEP filling, and could possibly be saved. We decided to wait and see if the antibiotics would help reduce the inflammation and pain, it didn't, so we called the dentist back to see about the endodontist who would do the root canal. Just the root canal would have been $875. Then we would have to go back to the dentist (because the endo doesn't do this part) to get a temporary crown which would be around $200 and back to the dentist later to get the permanent crown which would be between $600 and $700. I told mom I thought that was way too much money for a stupid tooth and I would just as soon get it yanked. So tomorrow morning I go back to have them pull my painful tooth. Oh joy!
All I can really say is thank heavens I have pain pills!!!
Until next time...
